The opportunity

As a risk transformation professional, you will be addressing client issues such as business performance variability, business and process controls transformation; application security integrity, governance, risk and control (GRC) technology enablement, business and/or IT GRC, continuous monitoring, vendor and contract risk management and IT risk management. You will belong to an international network of specialists helping our clients transform risk functions and implement technology solutions that support risk management and governance.

Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities:

  • Execute the vision and strategy for the Business Intelligence / Data Analytics landscape through leveraging new technology, existing functionalities and leading practices.

  • Understand clients’ IT infrastructure and business model swiftly and identify improvement areas on internal control, cost savings, corporate efficiency and revenue generation through the use of data analytics for EY corporate clients.

  • Undergo data mining on clients’ systems and perform data cleansing and produce business analytics to improve the business of EY corporate clients.

  • Identify project opportunities and support the development of proposals.

  • Plan, manage and execute the provision of engagements or projects, including responsibility for the review and quality assurance of services provided.

  • Drive the data analytics coaching, training and knowledge sharing within the team.

  • Develop collaborations with vendors and technology providers to formulate technology services and support EY clients.


To qualify for the role you must have

  • 6 – 10 years of working experience, preferably with managerial experience.

  • A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics or experience in a quantitative field where you gained experience on the technical side of data & analytics.

  • Proven delivery experience in data analytics modeling / data science / quantitative analytics projects and work is a must.

  • Experience with data visualization techniques and tools. (e.g., Tableau, Qilk, PowerBI)

  • Solid experience and good hands-on skill on Python and SQL is a must.

  • Strong analytical mindset with solid problem solving skills and ability to analyze complex data, identify core issues and investigate, evaluate and reach appropriate conclusions/solutions.

  • Proven project management skills including planning, designing and shaping project work streams, managing progress, resolving issues and limiting risks.


Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience on RPA (e.g., Blueprism, Uipath) is preferred.

  • Experience working in a consulting environment is preferred.

  • Good English and Mandarin preferred.

  • Data Analytics related certificates on Microsoft SQL server, Cloudera, EMC, MapR, SAS, etc are preferred.
