Your key responsibilities

  • Drive the strategic direction of our corporate social responsibility strategy by planning, designing, implementing, and managing national relationships and sponsorships with clear KPIs and reporting
  • Be an advocate for purpose-driven initiatives, and proactively integrate corporate responsibility messages and opportunities into all aspects of go-to-market activities nationally
  • Closely collaborate with our Talent and EY Ripples teams, and play the role of dot-connector between these groups to tell our holistic EY brand story in a way that resonates and is meaningful to our internal and external audience
  • Engage with EY leaders to prospect, evaluate, guide and proactively recommend sponsorship investments that align with business priorities and social pillars
  • Plan, execute and socialize best-in-class corporate social responsibility activations with measurable and meaningful results, including corresponding internal employee awareness and engagement initiatives
  • Manage our corporate social responsibility and sustainability reporting process
  • Directly manage complex contract negotiations with sponsors and ensure independence compliance, including budget and invoice management
  • Be an advocate and liaison between sponsors and EY, clearly communicating EY goals and representing the firm in a brand-conscious manner
  • Maximize impact from our core partnerships and relationships at every stage of the process
Skills and attributes for success
  • Ability to develop and nurture strategic, proactive relationships with the C-suite, potential sponsors, corporate partners, not-for-profits and other philanthropic organizations
  • Track record of identifying emerging trends in corporate social responsibility and bring new ideas to the table
  • Exceptional communicator and storyteller with a unique ability to simplify complex concepts and articulate them in a creative and compelling way that is memorable and resonates with audiences
  • At ease managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven, fast-paced and highly matrixed environment
  • Strong strategic, organizational, and autonomous project management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess, iterate and report on KPIs and results
  • Superb networking, teaming and negotiating skills
  • Process-driven, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Committed to the principle that diverse perspectives – combined with an inclusive culture – drive better decisions, stimulate innovation, improve organizational agility and strengthen resilience to disruption

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Administration or related field
  • 5+ years of corporate social responsibility, brand management or sponsorship experience
  • Experience building a sponsorship and corporate responsibility program from the ground up, and/or proven track record of working with multiple sponsorship partners
  • Demonstrated success negotiating contracts
