EY's International Social Security (ISS) Practice is the number one global provider of social security services. The current dedicated ISS team includes ex-social security administration staff, qualified accountants and tax advisors with backgrounds in expatriate tax, immigration and assignment management. The Group manages a global range of Social Security compliance and advisory work relating to individuals moving to and from the UK and between any other two country combination throughout the world.
 
Key responsibilities
To coordinate and manage International Social Security service delivery to a number of multinational clients:

  • The Manager will have day-to-day responsibility in ensuring delivery of "Core" Global ISS compliance services as part of a Global account service team on each client.
  • Responsibilities will centre on being the main point of contact for our Global clients and building relationships with clients. The manager will have direct contact with the corporate client as well as the assignees and their families.
  • To manage the EY team delivering compliance services (the ISS team in London, the ISS back office team based in the GDS and our EY Global network);
  • To proactively manage the financial metrics on their accounts.
  • Identify planning for assignments all around the globe to ensure cost effective reduction/management of employer social security liabilities;
  • Identify sales opportunities (for ISS and other PAS sub service lines);
  • Provide ISS technical advice with regard to social security compliance obligations and opportunities on a global basis;
  • Provide social security/Benefits/Healthcare advice to clients;
  • Liaise with Government departments in both the UK and internationally;
  • Draft correspondence to clients and take on ad hoc projects. 
 
Skills and attributes for success

You will have extremely strong coordination skills, be meticulous in detail, self motivated with strong influencing and problem solving skills with the ability to multi-task. Ability to work in small teams as well as actively able to contribute to the overall larger Group is essential. Your ability to deliver accurately to tight deadlines will be a result of your excellent organizational and project management skills. A strong case management skill-set is beneficial.
 
This busy, client service focused group have high levels of contact with corporate clients, assignees and EY contacts at all levels and therefore requires the post holder to be well presented, customer service/team oriented with exceptional communication skills both written, spoken and listening.
 

To qualify for the role you must have


Experience in a client facing role within International Social Security/ NIC / Assignment Management / Expatriate Tax would be beneficial.
