Position Summary:

The Operations Analyst Associate works within a workstream of the Human Resources Shared Services Center (HRSSC) to evaluate processes, document procedures, and implement training to enhance overall quality and efficiency.  The role manages the workstream (e.g. offers, Scheduling, separations, transfers, payroll, etc.) mailbox to determine appropriate distribution of department transactions and triage special requests.

Essential Functions of the Job:
  • Under limited direction analyze workflow of the department and offer suggestions for improvement 
  • Work with department management to identify opportunities for improvement and implements procedural enhancements as directed
  • Identify the need for, develop and facilitate departmental training material/updates
  • Reviews the work of department members for consistent and accurate delivery
  • Review workflow demands and recommends staffing alignment
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
  • Understands the firms business, organizational structure and human resources operations and how this relates to their department and the overall HRSSC operation.
  • Uses good judgment in applying policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates professionalism, effective problem solving and analytical skills
  • Follows through on commitments and accepts ownership of results
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
  • Understands the expectations of customers and delivers service that  exceeds customer’s needs within department guidelines
  • Identifies and resolves issues that impact the delivery of quality service
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibits a positive can-do attitude and approach to responsibilities; meets new challenges and changes with an open mind; demonstrates commitment to the job
  • Works effectively with others within the HRSSC, field APT, other EY personnel and external parties
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency with Firm standard technology including Windows, Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, Intranet, and other
  • APT related applications
Supervision Responsibilities:
  • Performs duties and responsibilities with limited supervision from department Supervisor in accordance with department policies, procedures and service level agreements
  • Exercises a high degree of independence and autonomy
  • Provides training to all  department personnel – new and ongoing
  • Measures the accuracy and timeliness of staffs’ output and provides recommendation on individual and team improvements.
  • In the absence of the Supervisor, may function on behalf of the supervisor
  • Develops and maintains effective working relationships within the HRSSC and with key operational contacts; supports an environment that promotes effective teamwork and collaboration

Other Requirements:
Working hours, flexible work arrangements and time off may be limited during specific times due to business demands. All overtime must be approved in advance. 
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent work experience required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
1-3  years of related work experience
