The opportunity

EY is looking for Manager for Financial Services IT Advisory to lead the team in the execution of clients’ assignments in the areas of:

  • Developing business strategy and digital consulting
  • FinTech, Customer Valuation proposition, MVP design, IT strategy, Solution design
  • IT Target operating model, operational effectiveness and business case development
  • Program and project management
  • Agile and design thinking methodologies
Your key responsibilities:

  • Become a core member of Business and Digital strategy team in Financial Services industry based in KL and support regional projects on need basis

  • Understand the business needs and priorities of our clients and define the strategic plan
  • Able to lead and manage Digital and FinTech consulting projects independently and any prior experience of working in go-to market strategy, innovation, operational model, digital blue-print, customer strategy, loyalty and retention related projects could be very relevant
  • Interact with client teams to conduct interviews, discuss findings and recommendations
  • Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, computer science, science, information systems, engineering, or a related field
  • Approximately 5 years of recent relevant work experience in technology initiatives management or implementation, preferably in a business consulting role with a leading management consultancy organization
  • Good functional knowledge of Target Operating Model for banks and insurance companies
  • Able to perform industry benchmarking, customer segmentation, future state assessment, MVP design and Implementation roadmap
  • Experience in providing consulting services in strategy formulation and planning, organization design, and operation and business process improvement
  • Support team on proposal development, internal business development activities, market research, competitor analysis
  • Prior understanding of the market dynamics and regulatory landscape could be advantageous
  • Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge
  • Demonstrate ability to assimilate new knowledge
  • Possess good business acumen
  • Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience with leading financial services, insurance industry players, including multinational companies or domestic large-scale leading companies

  • MBA degree from a reputable business school
