Key responsibilities
  • Proactively and regularly prepare market and competitive intelligence to share with stakeholders, supported by comprehensive, data-backed analysis and insight
  • Inform business strategies through proactive research, pipeline analysis and use of leading resources and tools
  • Work across the marketing and business development functions to provide fact-based intel during annual, quarterly and everyday planning with leadership and the Markets team
  • Assess and simplify comprehensive information, data and insight tied to our financial performance, market initiatives, and other internal reporting projects to recommend actionable insight, strategies, and tactics
  • Work with both forward-looking and historical data to provide forecasting, and identify trends that should be factored into our planning and operational approach
  • Immerse yourself in EY’s proprietary tools to deliver globally-consistent financial performance metrics around revenue, margin, sales and pipeline
  • Deliver new marketing campaign analytics support and dashboards
  • Interpret, and guide users through, global and local reports on financial metrics and drivers
  • Support pipeline management requests where appropriate
  • Support and project manage annual and quarterly marketing planning
  • Bring a wider breadth of expertise to our CRM initiatives, campaigns and reporting by providing end-to-end subject matter expertise
  • Play a vital role as our local CRM point of contact within the global matrix organization, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, reporting and alignment
 
Skills and attributes for success
  • At-ease collecting, analyzing and synthesizing data from multiple sources
  • Experienced across the spectrum of critical business and data analysis tools (data visualization tech including Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, ThoughtSpot; advanced user proficiency in Excel)
  • Ability to write code using VBA, Power Query
  • Capacity to manage CRM (contact, relationship, sales and pipeline databases)
  • Aptitude for complex systems issues
  • Avid problem solver with an analytical mindset
  • Curious thinker with the courage to challenge the ‘how’ and the ‘why’
  • Keen attention to detail and relentless focus on data integrity
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven, very fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to operate collaboratively and flex to social styles
  • Thrives in ambiguity or grey situations
 
To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business discipline (finance, accounting, commerce, economics)
  • 5-10 years of experience in a financial, business enablement, strategy or business operations capacity
  • Experience with CRM databases and processes in a fast-paced work environment
