Responsibilities

 

Program Strategy

  • Understand stakeholder learning requirements and envision their future learning needs
  • Ensure alignment of learning with firm strategy and global initiatives
  • Work together with learning partners and learning leads to identify learning needs in their practices, and develop best practices to deploy, deliver, and communicate Learning.
  • Establish learning maps and curriculum plans
  • Identifying business needs, conduct skills gaps analysis, and recommend solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with other EY offices with a view to sharing learning resources and ideas
  • Communicate practice learning needs to leadership
  • Serve as a learning advisor to individuals and business units

Learning Design & Delivery

  • Identify and review courses/products/materials/technology which are relevant to the practice
  • Design, and/or coordinate the design of, high quality learning interventions in a variety of delivery environments (e-Learning, instructor led, virtual classroom)
  • Facilitate the design process, partnering with subject matter experts and other resources as appropriate
  • Identify and promote new methods and techniques in learning design, delivery and administration
  • Analyze the effectiveness of current learning by compiling and assessing evaluation data
  • Train facilitators in effective facilitating techniques
  • Coach facilitators on their facilitation skills
  • Review and assess external vendor courses, college/university courses to meet development needs and to provide a well-rounded curriculum

Learning Management

  • Design implementation plan on existing courses
  • Manage external vendor relationships and contract negotiations
  • Identify/recommend subject matter experts and instructors
  • Create and monitor learning budgets working with the program manager
  • Monitor the production of learning materials and the distribution and completion of pre-work activities for course

Requirements

  • University graduate with minimum 6-8 years working experience in professional services or blue chip environment, with learning function or with a background in advisory, assurance or transaction support
  • Experience in delivering leadership and coaching program will be an advantage.
  • Ideally with experience in course designing, delivery and evaluation. Experience in managing regional learning programs, planning curriculum, and conducting needs analyses will be a plus. 
  • Knowledge management experience would be helpful
  • Ability to provide pragmatic solutions to business needs
  • Strong stakeholder influence ability
  • Good project management skills
  • Experience of supervising staff and managing relationships with external suppliers
  • Effective communicator. Good presentation skills both oral and written
  • Team player and active listener with the ability to respond to and develop the ideas of others
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
