The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to be part of our Risk Transformation team in Sydney. This role is offered on a flexible full-time basis.

Your key responsibilities
  • Participating in Program Risk Management engagements
  • Project complexity factors and governance pre- planning alignment

  • Project formation and launch
  • Execution controls and performance monitoring
  • Pre- implementation readiness assessments
  • Post- implementation analysis
  • Project risk management planning and implementation
  • Working effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress
  • Preparing reports and schedules for clients and other parties
  • Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with clients
  • Participating in business development initiatives such as writing proposals
Skills and attributes for success
  • A bachelor's degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience;
  • A degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a business degree with a minor in Computer Systems and Engineering Certification, or be pursuing certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Experience in project risk management
  • Relationship management and business development experience
  • Ability to effectively interact with project executive sponsors, a project team and external consultants with excellent presentation, organizational, and project planning skills
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • The ability to develop and maintain integrity and trusted relationships with clients, peers and team members

  • Previous experience working for a professional services firm or State/Federal Government organisation

The preferred applicant will be subject to employment screening by EY or by their external third party provider. Regarding this role, the minimum salary is $66,000 including 9.5% superannuation.
