The opportunity

The Change Manager for FSO Greater China will work with EY senior leadership to drive and manage initiatives to enable the Advisory, Assurance, Tax and TAS service lines to capture emerging opportunities in the region, with initial focus on the Greater Bay Area and the AI initiative for audit process. The person will develop and propagate prioritized service offerings such as AI, Robotics, and Fintech. The person will also work to develop the execution plan that lays out proposed changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The person will subsequently work with the services to carry out the changes to the future state.

Key responsibilities

·         Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.

·         Support the development, delivery and management of communications.

·         Develop the execution plan to the future state.

·         Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.

·         Assess the design regulatory impact of the change initiative.

·         Ensure that the change adheres to EY and professional guidelines. Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics.

·         Create actionable services for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan

·         Support and engage senior leaders and/or government officials

·         Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities

·         Integrate change management activities into project plan

·         Help manage stakeholders expectations

·         Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress


Skills and attributes for success

·         Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

·         Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle


To qualify for the role you must have

·         Over 8 years of experience, with 5 or more years’ relevant experience.

·         Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools

·         Experience as a practitioner in one or more service lines: Tax, Transaction Advisory, Assurance, or Advisory within Big 4 or similar environment is advantageous

·         Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics

·         Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others

·         Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
