Technology Strategy, Senior Consultant, Sydney

The opportunity


We are looking for experienced Senior Consultants and Managers with technology strategy skills to join our EY Technology Transformation team. This role is offered on a flexible full-time basis.

Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant / Manager you will:
  • Work with global firms through to start-ups, helping them to navigate the digital age so that they can successfully adapt and respond to an ever-changing business environment
  • Work within high performing and diverse teams to solve complex business problems, designing and executing against Technology Strategies that consider digital trends and evolving technologies
  • Bring your strong grasp on technology, industry experience and/or domain knowledge to support big picture thinking and planning
  • Build strong client relationships, lead teams and build internal networks whilst promoting a collaborative and inclusive culture
Skills and attributes for success
  • Keen and fast learner that thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior work experience in the technology domain as a consultant, business analyst, project manager, or similar
  • A good understanding of technology and how it impacts businesses today and change ways of working tomorrow
  • Understanding IT concepts such as the system development lifecycle, the difference between on-premise and cloud-based technologies and the IT stack
  • Proven ability to be able to take a ‘big picture’ strategic view as well as being able to work at a detailed level across a broad range of technologies and approaches
  • Strong command of the English language and tools such as Excel and PowerPoint
  •  Willingness to travel to support our most exciting, high profile pieces of work
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Experience in bottom-up and/or top-down cost modelling
  • A broad understanding of IT Operating Model design and concepts
  • A broad understanding of solution and enterprise architecture
  • Business Case development skills
  • AU Citizenship
