Audit interns (m/f)


Our Audit team helps our clients meet their requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters. Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Participating in the execution of a variety of projects, regulatory driven reviews and reporting, general business process and controls advice
  • Working in teams under the guidance and direction of more experienced individuals and informing supervisors on the status of your assigned work
  • Completing audit processes and performing engagements in compliance with the firm and industry standards; understanding and following workplace policies and procedures
  • Interacting with client personnel, developing productive working relationships and demonstrating a commitment to continually improve our client's satisfaction
  • Fostering an efficient, innovative and team-oriented work environment by maintaining cooperative relationships that lead to open communications; sharing information
  • Using technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery



Tax interns (m/f)


Our tax professionals help clients meet complex demands for tax reporting, compliance, planning and tax controversy. Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Technical research into areas of tax legislation
  • Commercial research into new clients
  • Attending and taking notes of client meetings and calls
  • Managing (under supervision) an allocated portfolio of work
  • Learning how to advise on a variety of tax matters (depending on your department): personal/income tax, corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing and other corporate tax related taxes, corporate payroll operations, corporate tax compliance, bookkeeping, Statutory reporting, etc.
  • Verbal and written contact with clients
  • Interaction with other colleagues in both local office and our offices abroad



TAS interns (m/f)


Our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team advises clients on preserving, optimizing, raising or investing capital. Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Actively support all our TAS teams – Project Finance and Infrastructure, Restructuring Services, Transaction Support and Valuation and Business Modelling
  • Managing (under supervision) an allocated portfolio of work
  • Interaction with other colleagues in both local office and our offices abroad
  • Analyzing, editing and preparing data for senior team members



Advisory interns (m/f)


Our Advisory Services team helps our clients, both private and public companies and institutions grow and translate their strategy into reality. It consists of few teams. Your key responsibilities will vary depending on the team you will be working for:
a) EU team
  • Capacity building of public institutions - process improvement, performance management, risk management etc.
  • EU program and project preparation
  • Socio-economic studies about development needs of different sectors and policy areas
  • Preparing proposals for public tenders


 b) Public procurement team


  • Working as a public procurement intern on advisory projects related to the following areas:
    • EU programs and projects preparation
    • Capacity building of public institutions
  • Giving support in:
    • Preparing tender documentation for public procurements according to Public procurement law and relevant EU Directive
    • All steps of evaluation of offers and making decision on the provider
    • Claims process

c) Energy and infrastructure team

  • Working with our clients in sectors such as Energy, Transportation, Water, Waste, Gas, Infrastructure and Utilities
  • Working on projects related to following topics:
    • Strategic planning
    • Feasibility studies
    • Cost benefit analysis
    • Management of investment projects and etc.

d) IT team

  • Working as a team member for the public and private sector clients in IT projects related to following areas:

IT audit:


As an IT Audit intern, you will get an inside look at the people, methods and technologies while working inside a large international firm. You will work as a team member for the public and private sector clients on IT audit projects related to following areas:
  • Review IT General controls (ITGC) including Change management, Access Management and IT Operations in order to support Financial Audit
  • Perform Tests of Controls to assess compliance with international standards, national regulation and existing procedures
  • Assess compliance with international IT standards and national regulation
  • Prepare IT audit reports based on reviewed current state and identified findings

RPA development:


In this role you are responsible for participating in delivery of automation solutions to our clients. You will analyze and automate various processes using new, cutting-edge technologies that EY is currently implementing, and which are growing very fast on a global scale.
Your daily job will include:
  • Design, implementation, build, test and deployment of Automation Software solutions (more precisely: Robotics Process Automation – RPA – software like Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere and UI Path)
  • Collaboration with colleagues in other departments and countries, helping them automatize their processes in domains such as risk management, business optimization, finance and customer intelligence
  • Regular, direct contact with our clients, while working on process transformation projects

Requirements for candidates:
  • Students from faculties related to social and technical sciences (economics, finance, accounting & audit, marketing, political sciences, humanistic & social sciences, legal, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology, computing, mathematics, managerial informatics, etc.)
  • 4th or 5th year, regular student
  • Full time internship
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Croatian
  • Any working experience or student jobs are an advantage
  • PC knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Your career is very high on your priority list
  • Hard working, motivated and responsible
  • Problem solving capabilities
Working location: Zagreb, Croatia
